About Dr Diwei Lin

Specialist Urological Surgeon

Dr. Diwei Lin is an Australian-trained Urologist dedicated to providing patient-centered care to men and women with a wide variety of urological issues.

Dr. Lin is originally from Singapore and is fluent in Mandarin. He began medical training at the University of Adelaide in 2006 and is a fully qualified specialist Urological Surgeon after completing the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) Accredited training program. In 2020, he spent a year working at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, with a focus on Uro-oncology surgery.

He currently holds a Consultant Urologist position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) where he is also supervisor of training for Urology trainees.

Dr. Lin has specialist experience in all aspects of urology including:

  • Uro-oncology – kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular, penile cancer

  • Kidney stones

  • Benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH)

  • Reconstructive urology

  • Male and female incontinence

He has extensive experience in the management of complex urological conditions and is able to offer contemporary evidence-based treatments using the latest diagnostic and surgical techniques, individually tailored to a patients’ condition. Treatment approaches include open, laparoscopic, endoscopic, robotic, and laser procedures.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lin is a passionate researcher who has published in numerous international journals and presented at national and international conferences. Since 2012 he has been a clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide where he continues to educate the next generation of young doctors.
